Serial Production of New Class of Tractors Starts in Russia
The assembly of ANT 4135F tractors was set up on the basis of the Kovrov Electromechanical Plant in the Vladimir region, reported the Rosteh website (the Kovrov Electromechanical Plant is part of the state corporation). The company will produce and deliver more than a hundred new tractors to customers by the end of the year.
According to the general director of Rosteh, Sergei Chemezov, there is a consistently growing demand for agricultural machinery of this class, which was not previously produced in Russia. By 2020, the sales volume of this new machinery is forecasted to be 650 units per year. As of 2022, it will be about a thousand units per year.
ANT 4135F tractors are designed for a wide variety of agricultural tasks with mounted, semi-mounted and towed agricultural machinery and tools, and can be used for both specialised tasks and transportation, as well as a power plant for driving various stationary agricultural and industrial machinery.
The main advantages of the new tractor are its high off-road capability and reduced fuel consumption. The combination of its powerful engine and its large mass ensures maximum performance in all operating conditions and during all types of agrotechnical work. It was previously reported that unique Russian-produced all-terrain vehicles are now entering new foreign markets.
